摘要
我描述了拥有370年历史的乌得勒支天文研究所（Sterrekundig Instituut Utrecht）最后的岁月，该所是世界上第二古老的大学天文台，在乌得勒支大学理学院和董事会未提供定性或定量论据的情况下，决定将天体物理学从其研究与教育组合中移除后，于2012年初被关闭。
