斯皮策望远镜对小行星、行星与黄道云的太阳系研究

摘要
在16年的科学观测中,斯皮策空间望远镜(Spitzer Space Telescope)对太阳系天体完成了一系列开创性的红外测量。在两篇论文中的第二篇里,我们阐述斯皮策对小行星、尘埃环与行星的观测结果,这些结果为太阳系的形成与演化提供了新见解。此处给出的斯皮策关键结果可归为三大类:表征小行星的物理性质(显著包括对近地天体的大样本巡天);探测并表征太阳系中若干尘埃/碎屑盘;以及对冰巨星(天王星、海王星)大气的全面表征。这些观测中的许多为未来的红外空间观测提供了关键基础。
