我们引入了一个由以太坊链上活动（聚焦加密艺术）引起的温室气体排放模型。我们还估计了单个交易在伦敦硬分叉前后对环境的影响。我们发现，在当前的费用机制下，在交易费上花费一美元对应于排放至少相当于 1.305 千克 CO2 的当量。我们还描述了若干减少加密艺术排放的短期与长期技术。
