具有仲胺终止锯齿形边缘的石墨烯作为线电子发射源

摘要
通过第一性原理计算发现,在仲胺终止的石墨烯锯齿形边缘上存在极低的真空势垒高度,为 2.30 eV。该边缘结构具有附着于 gamma 点的边缘态平带,此处横向动能为零。我们表明场致电子发射主要由该平带主导。边缘态将费米能级钉扎在恒定值,导致发射能量宽度极窄。具有此类边缘的石墨烯是一种极具前景的线场致电子发射源,能够产生高度相干的发射电流。
