全局弱指示与局部弱指示自定时功能块的对比分析

摘要
本文分析了采用延迟不敏感数据编码并遵循4相归零握手协议的全局弱指示自定时功能块与局部弱指示自定时功能块的优缺点。以自定时行波进位加法器作为分析示例功能块。分析表明,虽然全局弱指示有助于优化功耗、延迟和面积参数,但局部弱指示在实现弱指示自定时设计所特有的数据相关周期时间方面可实现最佳性能。
