我们为顶点代数引入了亏格及其质量的概念。对于格顶点代数，其亏格与格的亏格相同，这在格的分类中起着重要作用。我们推导了一个将顶点代数的质量与格的质量联系起来的公式，并由此给出了某些全纯顶点算子代数的一个新刻画。
