本文是先前工作 hep-th/9907099 的简缩版:我们提出一个拓扑量子场论作为表述协变矩阵弦的扭曲候选者。该模型依赖于在具有约化完整性的八维流形上定义的八元数或复化瞬子方程。为允许模型无反常地去扭曲,我们建议以(部分扭曲的)W-引力作为“扩充的”2d-引力 sector。
