Just像传统的BPM系统一样，agentic BPM系统是围绕所考虑过程的规范构建的。其区别特征是，过程的执行是由多个自主决策者，即agent驱动的。由于这些agent不能被完全控制，过程规范被增强为分配给参与者的明确目标或目标。agent then pursue这些目标，至少在其能力范围内，under suitable assumptions on the behavior of others，通过采用适当的策略来实现。 Centrally，组织enacting the process can use these specifications to provide guardrails on the decision-making capabilities of agents at the strategy level。This paper sets up the mathematical foundations of such systems in three key settings and analyzes four foundational problems of agentic BPM。
