$^{96}$Zr 单次贝塔衰变的首次观测

摘要

首次检测到 96^{96}Zr 的单次贝塔衰变,采用211 cm³低背景高纯锗探测器,外加两个富锆样本( 96^{96}Zr 原子分数为88.28%,总质量为140.65 g)。在搜索 96^{96}Zr 的贝塔衰变过程中,发现 96^{96}Nb 的贝塔衰变衍生至 96^{96}Mo 的激发态。探测器检测了由 96^{96}Mo 核在去激发至基态所产生的伽马射线级联。实验在巴卡斯神秘观测站进行,累计获得12625.34小时数据。测得 96^{96}Zr 单次贝塔衰变的半衰期为 T1/2=[2.270.36+0.53(stat)±0.27(syst)]×1020T_{1/2} = [2.27^{+0.53}_{-0.36}(stat) \pm 0.27(syst)]\times10^{20} 年。
