临界点附近非高斯涨落的实验证据

摘要
利用高灵敏度偏振干涉仪，我们在由电场驱动的二级相变——Fréedericksz 转变附近，测量了液晶指向矢的取向涨落。我们表明，在临界场值附近，空间平均序参量服从广义 Gumbel 分布而非高斯分布；而在远离临界点时则恢复为高斯分布。我们指出了慢模态的相关性。广义 Gumbel 分布的参数与有效自由度数目相关。
