(Cr,Ti)3AlC2 MAX相稳定性的实验与DFT研究

通过实验与计算方法的协同结合,我们阐明了(Cr,Ti)3AlC2 MAX相的不寻常溶解度,表明它只能在极低浓度(<2at%)或在Cr/(Cr+Ti)比例恰好为2/3时容纳Cr,即使反应物比例远离该化学计量比(1/2 < Cr/(Cr+Ti) < 5/6)。在两种相中,Cr均独占4f位点,桥接碳化物层与Al层。尽管如此,(Cr2/3Ti1/3)3AlC2的独特稳定性归因于强自旋极化Cr-C键的形成,这导致了体积减小和c/a比的显著增加。
