共享物理环境（如墙式显示环境）有助于了解他人的行动与意图，从而为协作带来益处。先前的研究提供了关于桌面或较小垂直显示器环境中意识的首次见解。本文旨在推进对用户在墙式显示环境中如何共享意识信息的理解，并聚焦于作为沟通基础部分的空中指点手势。我们提出了一个处理危机情况下医疗供应链组织的场景，并报告了一项涉及 24 名用户（分为 6 组，每组 4 人）执行多项任务的用户研究结果。我们调查了指点手势，并识别出在面对面协作期间用作意识线索的三种子类型：叙述性指点、松散指点和尖锐指点。我们的观察表明，参与者与群体对手势子类型的依赖程度各不相同，且有时模糊的指点足以支持口头协商。
