ESO Imaging Survey VII. 12 平方度的远距离星团候选对象

本文完成了从 ESO Imaging Survey (EIS) 的 I 带数据中识别的星团候选对象列表，使用覆盖约 12 平方度的图像。结合此前报告的数据，EIS 的总 I 带覆盖范围为 17 平方度，该数据集已产生 252 个在红移范围 内的星团候选对象。这是目前南半球最大的光学选取星团样本。该样本在天空中也分布良好，为几乎全年的各种 VLT 项目提供了目标。
