星系簇的光学/红外勘测

摘要
在本稿中我们审查了构建广泛红移范围内星系簇统计样本的 ongoing 工作，以研究星系簇及其成员星系的演化。该项目的起点是利用I-band EIS-WIDE 勘测数据识别的候选星系簇列表。自该勘测完成后，新的光学/红外观测变得可用，并用于仅凭光度数据或结合后续光谱观测结果来确认其中一些候选星系。我们的初步结果显示，原始目录中实际物理关联性的产出保守地说>60%，且位于南半球的大规模星系簇样本，延伸至高红移范围内的可能性在达到。
