研究表明,若一个经典纠错码 C = [n,k,d] 包含其对偶码 C^{\perp} \subseteq C,且可扩充为 C' = [n,k' > k+1, d'],则可将其转换为参数为 [[ n, k+k' - n, min(d, 3d'/2) ]] 的量子码。这是对先前构造的推广,使得许多高效的新型码得以发现。文中讨论了基于经典Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem(BCH)码的例子。
