摘要
本书涵盖了d和f过渡金属系统及其相应理论概念的所有主要物理性质。特别关注磁性和输运现象的理论。书中详细讨论的一些非传统问题的例子：态密度奇异性对电子性质的影响；强巡游磁性的多电子描述；磁各向异性的机制；铁磁体中异常输运现象的微观理论。除了考虑应用于过渡金属的固体物理经典问题外，还在多电子模型框架内考虑了d和f化合物中关联效应理论的现代发展。本书尽可能包含简单的物理讨论。更困难的问题在附录中考虑。
