回旋辐射发射谱学实验中的电子辐射功率

摘要

近期发展的回旋辐射发射谱学(CRES)技术利用磁瓶中等离子的电子回旋运动的频率信息来推断其动能。本文从第一性原理推导波导 CRES 装置中电子的预期射频信号。我们证明频域信号富含关于电子运动学参数的信息,并提取出一组在适当设计的系统中足以将电子动能与其余运动学特征解耦的可测量量。这为未来 CRES 实验中的高分辨率能量测量奠定了基础,例如 Project 8 中微子质量测量。
