迪克森扩展体与弱引力波

摘要
广义相对论将迪克森理论视为处理扩展体在给定引力背景下运动的标准理论。我们在此讨论扩展体对弱引力波通过的“反应”特征。我们发现,该体会获得由其四极结构诱导的偶极矩。此外,我们推导了引力波背景下弱场极限的“世界函数”,并利用它来估计测地线与有结构体的世界线之间的偏差。由于累积效应的存在,测量这种偏差应比测量引力波本身的振幅更受青睐。
