摘要
本文在微观层面上描述了大质量物体对引力波的响应。结果对常用的振子模型给出了新的认识。研究表明，除了非共振的潮汐运动外，引力波向电磁耦合物体的能量转移一般仅限于表面，而引力耦合会引起四极模式的体激发，但要小几个数量级。这些结果不与标准理论矛盾，而是呈现了不同的视角。本文提出了一种利用该效应的微观探测器。
