我们祝贺 Samuel Kou、Qing Zhou 和 Wing Wong [math.ST/0507080]（以下称 KZW）写出这篇优美的论文，其为蒙特卡洛计算开辟了新方向。本讨论有两部分。首先，我们描述一个非常相关的方法——多正则采样（MCS），并报告一个将等能量（EE）采样器与 MCS 比较的模拟例子。总体而言，我们发现对所考虑的模拟问题，两种算法效率相当。在第二部分，我们给出了 EE 采样器的一些额外收敛结果。
