具有最小吸收体的 DHCAL:正电子测量

摘要

在专项测试中,CALICE 数字强子量能器原型机 DHCAL 的灵敏层暴露于低能粒子束,未与吸收板交替排列。每层的厚度约等于 0.29 辐射长度或 0.034 核相互作用长度,主要由探测器盒的铜和钢外壳决定。本文报道了该装置在 Fermilab 测试束流中使用 1 至 10 GeV 能量范围内正电子进行的测量。测量结果与基于 GEANT4 和用于模拟灵敏元件详细响应的独立程序的模拟进行了比较。
