Planck低频仪器70 GHz前端与后端模块的设计、开发与验证

为欧洲空间局Planck任务低频仪器构建并测试了70 GHz辐射计前端和后端模块。描述了工作原理和机械结构的设计细节,以及单元的关键InP MMIC低噪声放大器和移相器。这些单元在专门设计的低温真空腔中进行了测试,该腔能够产生Planck辐射计所需的工作条件,具体为:前端模块物理温度20 K,后端模块300 K,参考信号源4 K。讨论了低噪声放大器和移相器、前端和后端模块的测试结果,以及两个模块的组合结果。在70 GHz频率下,前端和后端的系统噪声温度为28 K;有效带宽为16 GHz,1/f频谱拐点频率为38 mHz。测试结果表明在70 GHz频率下具有最先进的性能,并满足Planck的性能要求。
