DEAP-3600暗物质探测器的设计与建造

摘要

利用氩脉冲形状甄别(DEAP)的暗物质实验被设计用于使用单相液氩靶直接探测粒子暗物质。DEAP-3600对弱相互作用大质量粒子(WIMPs)在核子上的自旋无关散射的预计截面灵敏度为 1046 cm210^{-46}~\rm{cm}^{2}(对应100 GeV/c2c^2 的WIMP质量, fiducial exposure为3 tonne-years)。本文描述了DEAP-3600探测器的物理性质和建造。
