DES16C3cje:一颗低光度、长寿命的超新星

摘要

我们介绍了DES16C3cje,这是一颗在红移0.0618处由暗能量巡天(DES)探测到的低光度、长寿命的II型超新星(SN II)。DES16C3cje是一颗独特的超新星。其光谱特征为极窄的光球层谱线,对应非常低的膨胀速度(1500\lesssim1500 km s1^{-1}),而光变曲线显示初始峰值在50天后衰减,随后在100天内缓慢重新变亮,达到绝对亮度Mr15.5_r\sim -15.5 mag。晚期光变曲线的衰减速率慢于56^{56}Co放射性衰变供能所预期的速率,但与吸积供能所预期的速率相当。通过将热光变曲线与流体动力学模型进行比较,我们发现DES16C3cje可以用以下两种情景之一解释:i)低爆炸能量(0.11 foe)和相对较大的56^{56}Ni产量(0.075 M_{\odot}),来自一颗典型的其他II型超新星中约15 M_{\odot}的红超巨星前身星;或ii)一颗相对致密的约40 M_{\odot}恒星,爆炸能量为1 foe,56^{56}Ni产量为0.08 M_{\odot}。两种情景都需要额外的能量输入来解释晚期光变曲线,这与速率约为0.5×108\sim0.5\times{10^{-8}} M_{\odot} s1^{-1}的回流吸积一致。
