量子霍尔体系中热电势的导数关系

摘要
最近,Tieke等人(即将发表于PRL)在量子霍尔体系中观测到热电势张量分量之间存在关系 S_{yx} = alpha B dS_{xx}/dB,其中alpha为常数,B为磁场。Simon和Halperin(PRL 73, 3278 (1994))曾提出,在非均匀介质中,若局域霍尔电阻率是位置的函数而局域耗散电阻率为小常数,则经典输运模型可以解释观测到的电阻率张量关系 R_{xx} = \alpha B dR_{xy}/dB。本文表明,这一新的热电势关系也可以用类似的模型来解释。
