CUPID-0:首个用于无中微子双贝塔衰变研究的富集闪烁热 bolometer 阵列

摘要

位于意大利格兰萨索国家实验室(Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso)的 CUPID-0 探测器是用于研究 82^{82}Se 无中微子双贝塔衰变(0νββ\nu\beta\beta)的首个大型富集闪烁低温探测器阵列。CUPID-0 旨在测量 0νββ\nu\beta\beta 感兴趣区(RoI)内达到 103^{-3} c/keV/kg/y 水平的本底指数,这是使用低温探测器测得的最低值。这一结果可通过用于本底抑制的最先进技术和用于探测器制备与建造的严密规程及程序来实现。本文将从(用于吸收体生产的)材料选择到新颖创新的探测器结构,介绍探测器设计与建造的各个环节。探测器的成功建造带来了前景良好的探测器性能,本文对此进行初步讨论。
