CUPID-0 实验的本底模型

摘要

CUPID-0 是自 2017 年起在 LNGS 运行的、首个由富集 Zn82^{82}Se 闪烁低温量热器构成的大质量阵列。在其首批科学运行期间,CUPID-0 积累了 9.95 kg yr 的曝光量。得益于对 α\alpha 粒子的优异抑制能力,我们在搜寻 82^{82}Se 无中微子双贝塔衰变特征的能量区间内达到了热探测器有史以来最低的本底。本工作中我们建立了一个模型,以重建整个实验数据能量范围内的 CUPID-0 本底。我们利用各本底源的独特特征对其加以辨识,并评估了它们在 82^{82}Se 无中微子双贝塔衰变搜寻感兴趣区中极低的贡献(低至 104\sim10^{-4} counts/(keV kg yr))。该结果对于理解基于闪烁量热器的实验以及 CUPID 等下一代项目中的本底而言,是至关重要的一步。
