鞍形折叠弹性诱导的溶致色原液晶手性结构与缺陷

摘要
对受限在圆柱体中、具有简并平面边界条件的溶致色原液晶(LCLC)进行了实验与理论研究,阐明了LCLC指向矢构型。当Frank鞍形折叠模量大于扭转模量的两倍时,基态采用非均匀的逃逸扭转构型。对该构型的分析给出了一个较大的鞍形折叠模量,该模量违反Ericksen不等式但不违反热力学稳定性。最后,我们在相反手性畴之间观察到点缺陷,并解释了为何点缺陷优于畴壁。
