摘要
自旋 - 轨道耦合被推测在 Sr2RuO4 的低能电子结构中起关键作用。利用圆偏振光结合自旋和角度分辨光电子能谱,我们直接测得有效自旋 - 轨道耦合值为 130 +/- 30 meV。该值甚至大于理论预测,并与费米面附近 dxy 和 dxz,yz 轨道的能级分裂相当,导致自旋和轨道特征出现强烈的动量依赖纠缠。正如从零总动量电子对的自旋期望值所证明的那样,基于纯单重态或三重态的库珀对分类从根本上破缺,必须用这些新发现的自旋 - 轨道纠缠本征态来描述 Sr2RuO4 的非常规超导态。
