通过纳入自旋轨道耦合与库仑排斥作用，解决了特征明确的顺磁费米液体 Sr2RhO4 中测量与计算（局域密度近似）费米面之间的显著差异。这导致有效自旋轨道耦合常数比裸值增强了 2.15 倍。一种简单的形式体系允许讨论其他系统。对于 Sr2RhO4，发现实验比热和质量增强因子均为 2.2。
