J. S. Bell 于 1986 年引入的跳跃过程，用于定义无观察者的量子场论，其前提是空间离散而时间连续。在本快报中，我们感兴趣的是寻找离散时间中的类似过程。我们论证了真正的类比并不存在，但给出了离散时间中可用作替代的过程实例。
