摘要
本文量化了视频会议中数据消耗相关的碳排放，重点考察摄像头开启与关闭的影响。关于通过关闭摄像头实现环境效益的研究发现，挑战了某些流行文章的论点。实验通过4G网络的手机进行，测量视频数据传输的差异。结果表明，关闭摄像头可将数据消耗及其相关碳排放减半，尤其在移动网络环境下效果显著。本文最后提出了优化数据使用、减少会议期间环境影响的建议。
