AC Her 不规则脉动的分析

摘要
对 AC Herculis 这颗不规则脉动星（属 RV Tau 类）的 AAVSO 光度曲线数据进行分析。我们发现该光度曲线与周期性，甚至多重周期性脉动不相容，即便考虑演化的可能性亦然。相反，最佳解释是不规则交替周期是低维混沌的表现。该光度曲线由 3 或 4 维动力学生成——即 3 或 4 个一阶常微分方程。计算得到其内在动力学吸引子的（Lyapunov）分形维数为 d_L ~ 2.2，小于 R Sct 中 d_L ~ 3.1 的值。
