一种扩展的基于晕的星表成团/团块搜寻器:在DESI遗留成像巡天DR8上的应用

摘要

我们扩展了由\citet[][]{Yang2005a}开发的基于晕的星表成团搜寻器,以同时使用具有测光红移或光谱红移的数据。利用高分辨率N体模拟构建的模拟星系红移巡天来评估这一扩展搜寻器的性能。对于DESI遗留成像巡天(Legacy Surveys)中星等z21{\rm z\le 21}、红移0<z1.00<z\le 1.0的星系,我们的成团搜寻器在约90%90\%的质量\ga1012.5\msunh\ga 10^{12.5}\msunh的晕中成功识别出超过60%60\%的成员。探测到的质量\ga1012.0\msunh\ga 10^{12.0}\msunh的成团其纯度(真实成团所占比例)大于90%90\%。分配给每个成团的晕质量在高质量端\ga1013.5\msunh\ga 10^{13.5}\msunh的不确定性约为0.2 dex,在低质量端约为0.40 dex。成员数大于10的成团红移精度约为0.008\sim 0.008。我们将此成团搜寻器应用于Legacy Surveys DR8,发现了520万个至少含3个成员的成团。其中约387,000个成团至少含10个成员。所得星表包含三维坐标、 richness(富度)、晕质量与成团总光度,已公开提供。

Due to a bug in our code, our calculation of the completeness and interloper fraction of the group members was not correct, which resulted in our choice of a low background B=2.5. In this new version of the paper, we updated results with the theoretical fiducial background B=10. Most of the changes in the figures are virtually too small to notice. This version supersedes the one published in ApJ
