从网络视角看雾计算

摘要
随着智能设备尤其是智能手机成为人们的日常伴侣，泛在移动互联与计算应用渗透到大众日常生活中。面对随时随地高质量移动服务的激增需求，如何应对泛在用户需求并容纳移动流量的爆发式增长是下一代移动网络的关键问题。雾计算（Fog computing）是实现该目标的一种有前景的方案。雾计算通过向移动网络边缘提供虚拟化资源与相关的基于位置的服务，扩展了云计算，从而更好地服务移动流量。因此，雾计算是云计算与移动应用相结合的润滑剂。本文中，我们概述了雾计算的主要特征并描述了其概念、架构与设计目标。最后，我们从网络视角讨论了若干未来研究问题。
