我们提出了函数极性的统一视角，涵盖所有具体定义，概括了几个已知性质，并提供了新结果。我们展示了双极集和双极函数是同构的格。此外，我们探讨了与非负函数相关的三个可能的极次微分定义，并将其与向量对齐概念联系起来。
