类比于量子动理论中自旋变量的处理，提出了一种用于描述偏振光的标量 Wigner 分布函数。将该形式体系应用于圆偏振光在非线性 Kerr 介质中的传播，推导出了扩展相空间演化方程以及不变量。我们进一步考虑了调制不稳定性以及向部分相干场的扩展。
