层状钴酸盐Na_xCoO_2的X射线吸收谱研究

摘要
对x=0.4和x=0.6的Na_xCoO_2单晶进行了偏振和温度依赖的软X射线吸收测量。结果显示CoO_6八面体的局域三角对称性存在偏离，该偏离在25 K至372 K的温度范围内与温度无关。研究发现，这种偏离在Co^{3+}和Co^{4+}位点上有所不同。借助团簇计算，我们能够解释Co L_{23}边吸收谱，并发现Na_xCoO_2中t_{2g}和e_g能级之间的掺杂依赖的能量劈裂(10Dq)。
