WFPC2光度测量的准确度受限于CTE损失，对于位于芯片顶部的微弱星而言，CTE损失已增加至50%以上。我描述了近期对该效应进行特征化的工作，并提供了改进的CTE校正方程。我还检讨了影响背景测量的问题，如果未正确处理，这些问题会引入光度测量中的人工非线性。
