VIP 2:针对电子的泡利不相容原理实验检验

摘要
自1925年泡利不相容原理(PEP)被发现以来,许多实验研究了其违反情况。VIP(VIolation of the Pauli Principle)实验通过测量一个外部电子被俘获并在其级联过程中发生2p到1s跃迁的概率来检验PEP,其中1s态已被两个电子占据。该跃迁被泡利不相容原理所禁止。VIP实验给出了PEP违反概率的初步上限4.7 x 10^{-29}。目前后续实验VIP 2的装置正在准备中。该实验的目标是通过多种改进(如增强X射线探测器的能量分辨率以及实施主动屏蔽)将PEP违反的上限提高两个数量级。在此我们报告该装置新部件当前正在进行的性能测试。
