随机快速排序比较次数的方差

摘要
本文给出了当枢轴均匀随机选择时，快速排序算法所用比较次数方差公式的一个直接且自包含的证明。该结果已知已有段时间，但我们尚未找到任何单一来源以自包含且明确的方式给出论证的所有细节。我们希望这些细节能对希望理解这一计算的学生和其他人有所帮助。我们不声称对该结果具有原创性。
