通往 u 道物理的独特途径:排他性后向角 ω 介子电生核

摘要

共振区以上的后向角介子电生此前被忽视,预期可提供对核子波函数中三夸克加海成分的唯一探测途径。在本快报中,我们首次在质子上的排他性 ω 介子电生 e + p -> e' + p + ω 中,于中心 Q^2 值 1.60、2.45 GeV^2 和 W = 2.21 GeV 处,完成了共振区以上四个电磁结构函数的完全分离。我们开创性的 -u ~ -u_min 研究结果表明了未预期的后向角截面峰的存在,以及在这一从未探索的运动学区域内实现完整 L/T/LT/TT 分离的可行性。在 Q^2 = 2.45 GeV^2 处,观测到的 sigma_T 对 sigma_L 的主导地位,在定性上与近后向区中的共线 QCD 描述一致,其中散射振幅因子化为硬子过程振幅和重子到介子的跃迁分布振幅(TDAs):仅能通过后向角运动学访问的普适非微扰对象。
