摘要
我们概述了一些模型，其中将超过 1 EeV = eV 的宇宙射线解释为来自由宇宙相变可能产生的巨型“X”粒子衰变所释放的拓扑缺陷。我们指出，对于有趣的粒子物理参数范围，这些模型仍与当前数据相符，并讨论了可被下一代实验测试的拓扑缺陷机制的特征。
