利用矩阵元方法和原位喷注能量标定在轻子+喷注道中测量顶夸克质量

摘要
利用费米实验室Tevatron对撞机上CDF II探测器采集的ppbar碰撞中的ttbar事例样本，获得了顶夸克质量m_t的精确测量。选定事例要求包含一个电子或缪子、大的缺失横向能量以及恰好四个高能喷注，其中至少一个喷注被标记为来自b夸克。采用矩阵元方法结合准蒙特卡罗积分计算似然函数，并考虑了有限探测器分辨率和喷注质量效应。事例似然函数是m_t和参数DJES（用于原位标定喷注能量标度）的函数。利用总共1087个事例，测得m_t = 173.0 ± 1.2 GeV/c^2。
