摘要
刚体容器中理想气体的平衡与涨落是每一位统计力学学习者都会研究的内容。本文研究较少为人所知的盒子自由漂浮的情形；特别地，我们确定了由于与盒内气体相互作用而导致的盒子在速度与位置上的涨落。该系统是星系中心被恒星包围的黑洞之速度与位置涨落的一个玩具模型。这些涨落在邻近星系中或可被观测到。
