THESEUS搭载的X-Gamma成像谱仪(XGIS)

摘要
作为响应ESA M5征集所提出的THESEUS任务上预期搭载的仪器之一,我们设计了一台紧凑且模块化的X与伽马射线成像谱仪(XGIS)。该实验设想使用CsI闪烁体条,两端由单像元25 mm²硅漂移探测器读出。在硅层中吸收的事件(较低能X射线)与在闪烁晶体中吸收的事件(较高能X射线与伽马射线)通过星上电子学甄别。编码掩模在低能端提供成像能力,从而构成一个在宽能带(~2 keV至~20 MeV)内紧凑且灵敏的仪器。本文讨论了仪器设计、预期性能以及对一系列实验室原型所进行的表征。
