THESEUS 任务搭载的红外望远镜(IRT)

摘要

搭载于瞬变高能天空与早期宇宙勘测者(THESEUS)ESA M5 候选任务的红外望远镜(IRT)将在识别和表征中高红移伽马射线暴余辉方面发挥关键作用。IRT 是 THESEUS 上用于自主测量每年由软X射线成像仪(SXI)以及X与伽马射线成像光谱仪(XGIS)探测到的数百个 GRB 红移的使能仪器,从而允许大型地基望远镜在红移预选样本上被触发,最终实现该任务的宇宙学目标。IRT 将由直径 0.7 m 的主镜与单台相机以卡塞格林设计耦合组成。它将在 0.7–1.8 {\mu}m 波长范围内工作,并提供 10×10 角分的成像视场及亚角秒级定位能力,同时提供 5×5 角分视场及中等(R 可达约 500)光谱能力。其灵敏度主要受卫星抖动限制,足以探测所有由 SXI/XGIS 定位的 GRB 并为其中大多数获取光谱。
