本文描述了 Volctrans 向 WMT21 新闻翻译共享任务提交的德文到英文翻译系统。我们使用 Glancing Transformer 构建了一个并行（即非自回归）翻译系统，与当前主流的自回归模型相比，其能够实现快速且准确的并行解码。据我们所知，这是首个可扩展至如 WMT 竞赛此类实际场景的并行翻译系统。更重要的是，我们的并行翻译系统在德文到英文翻译任务上取得了最佳的 BLEU 分数（35.0），优于所有强大的自回归对照系统。
