银河的星际内容：白矮星人口

摘要
基于理论演化预期，我们发展了一种再现星体计数和合成颜色-光度图的银河模型，这包括白矮星 (WD) 人口。通过这种方式，我们能够评估在深层观测中各种光度带和银河坐标上的 WD 出现的预期频率，讨论不同银河组成的 WD 贡献。来自不同 WD 演化模型、年龄、初始质量函数以及祖先质量与 WD 质量关系的理论预测的影响被讨论。
