摘要
我们提出，标准模型可以被视为一个仅包含费米子物质内容的规范理论的磁对偶。我们通过首先引入一个类似Pati-Salam的标准模型扩展，然后将其与一个可能的仅包含费米子物质的电对偶理论联系起来来证明这一点。电对偶理论中不存在标量粒子表明，相关的磁对偶理论没有二次发散。我们对标准模型等级问题的这一新颖解法，也通过自然地解释为什么观测到的基本费米子代数至少为三，为观测到的基本费米子代数之谜提供了新的见解。
